A few months ago, Instagram announced the arrival of Threads, Meta’s new text-based social network. So far, since July 6, it was only available in the United States, but it finally arrives in Europe on December 14. Almost like an early Christmas present.
What is Threads and how it works
The literal translation of the name of this social network is “Threads”, which refers to the threads that are usually made in X (formerly Twitter) to talk about the same topic in several publications.
To use it, you will only have to log in with your Instagram account and keep your username. The posts made in Threads will have a maximum of 500 characters, in addition to being able to insert images, links and videos up to 5 minutes long. It is an application to discuss, to establish conversations with people you know (or not) and to follow those creators who talk about the topics that interest you.
The publications can be shared via stories to also reach the public on Instagram.
In addition to having launched a countdown on their official website, they have also done so on Instagram. You just have to type the word “ticket” in the search engine, hit the emoji that will appear and you will see a cool ticket with the countdown and the name of your user. We already have it!
